Engine will not start.

I have a 88 Ford with a 7.3L engine that will not start. I have bleed the fuel lines and checked the glow plugs still with no luck. I noticed that the tach is not moving when I crank it over. The only other 7.3L I've worked on (95) the tach did. Is this telling me there is a problem?

Is the glow plug controller working properly? Quick cycling wont get the plugs hot enuf to start. Try to plug in the block heater for a few hours and see if it starts better. Also make sure the injection pump is turning on, you can hear it click when you activate the key or remove the hot wire from the top of the pump. Also, make sure the batteries are up to make it spin over fast enuf.

Put some info in a signature......go to quick links. If it's standard pull start it, if not you need good batteries and a fast starter as mentioned, if you can count the RPM of the engine it's too slow.
