2006 Models already on Dealer lots

I visited the local dealer today to make an appointment for the recall on my 2005 F-350 and they already have 2006 models on the lot. Didnt notice much difference from my 2005. One big thing was they had 17 inch rims insted of the 18s on mine. They also had BFG tires insted of those wonderful Contis. I also noticed another dealer had the 2006 with the Amirillo Package. I am going to take a closer look at that one tommorow. I am insterested in all the things on it. I love my 2005 just hate the tires on it! I was wondering if anyone has changed tire brands that does snow plowing. Which replacements did you buy and are they better when plowing snow. Have a great day Big George

The dealer had an '06 on his lot when I bought my '05 three weeks ago.

As for the rims, the 17" vs 18" was probably just an F250 vs F350 thing. My '05 F250 has 17" rims with BFG tires.

I bought my 06 King Ranch F-350 CC DRW 4x4 Three Weeks ago. Much better trucks than my 03' F-350.

20" wheels available

Just ordered an 06 w/ 20" wheel package. I saw one on a lot and man it looks sharp. REally fills out the wheel wells.

to big george, the only tire out there is the goodyear wrangler a/ts lt 265 70 18e, I had them on my 2003 with 16 inch rims and they worked great in the snow, I now have them on my 2005 fx4f3504x4. I use a 7.5 western contractors grade plow, no problem. good luck, also they are anywhere from 190.00 to $260.00 per tire .
