Yeah, the starting problem is definately fixed. Guess the fuel pressure switch was the culprit. EGR is still making her run like crap - so I unplugged it until I can get more time to work on the problem. She runs pretty good with the EGR vac line off - just the annoying check eng light glaring at me.
It appears as though a vac leak may be the problem, I already checked - but I may have missed something.

Alright, now I chased all vac lines and took the new EGR off. I installed the old EGR and sealed the solenoid with some sealant when I bolted it on. It appears as though the EGR was leaking from the rubber seal between the EGR and solenoid - resulting in the EGR not being able to hold vaccum. Since I sealed it, the engine runs smooth and no back firing or loss of power. The EGR codes are gone also.
