I'm using Invisible Glass, by a company called Stoner. Buy at Wall-Mart. Stuff makes windex, etc. look pathetic.
Good luck.

I am curious what the advantage is in using "Invisible Glass"? Thanks for any explanations or suggestions.

Well, I have always used 'bulk Windex' from Costco, I was talking with my neighbor who was cleaning up his F-150. He's a truck driver, and a fanatic about clean glass. He was using this IG on his windows, and his windows were crystal clear. So I bought a can. Stuff works. Something in the stuff seems to clean deeper, and better than ammonia (secret ingredient in window cleaners). It doesn’t streak or leave any residue. Not soap etc.

Google invisible glass, lots of propaganda.

It does work though. Cheap at WallyWorld, and one container can do a lot of windows.

I too concur with the Invisible Glass. Little more work than just slapping on windex and wiping, but well worth it. I use a clean cloth applicator pad (square wax pad) to apply it and then wipe with crumpled newspaper. AWESOME.

Anything that can leave the windshield of my wife's accord (Honda has the worst hazing of windshields from dash "burn off", or whatever you call it) streakless and spotless is okay in my book.

Fellows, I am going to try the Invisible Glass. I have always sworn by Windex to be the best. However, I am not one to resist change, especially if it is for something better. Thank You!

I've purposely not told my wife about IG for that reason

I just use crumpled up black and white newspaper with it, works great. . .

Man, sounds like I'll be buying some as well.

I've heard of it, but just figured plain Windex was good enough.

You're all right that IG and spraw a way works great......

here's the formula....

Buy a plastic spray bottle
fill 3/4 with denatured alcohol
fill the other 1/4 with a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and water
add one drop of liquid dish soap.

an incredible cleaner for about 35 cents per bottle

Yeah that's what I said.
Then I tried this IG stuff and it's good. Better than the Windex.

I've also used denatured alcohol, (used to buy it by the gallon can when working on computers) and it tends to dry too fast, or eat things on the dash.

Alcohol is VERY chemically active. I can show you laptops that have had the finish removed because they were cleaned with denatured alcohol.

Mixing it with water kinda defeats it's purpose, but one of these days I will try that mix, why not?
I havn't used half the three dollar spray can yet, after months though.
Chris
