#Well, I've had an elec fan on my '72 for several months now, and everything is great. Have sat in traffic on 109 degree afternoons, and went thru a winter with it. No overheating at anytime, and faster warmups on those cold mornings. I also think the motor spins up faster with the big steel fan gone. So, if it holds up for a few yrs, I'm a believer.
