Turn signal problem
My 97 F150 right turn signal works, that is , after I pull the lever down it blinks rapidly....I turn it off and then on again and it blinks normally. Front and rear bulbs light ok...panel arrow lights ok.
Is this like the old vehicles where a bad bulb would cause a rapid blinking telling you the bulb was out or what??
Could this be a relay? Is it going bad?
What do you think?

yes normally if it blinks rapidly you can check and see which bulb is blown either front or rear, but not work somtimes and work sometimes. I would look at the relay, could be going out. new technology and all.

if you could get it to blink fast,get out and check thefront and rear lights.if thay are all working like they are supposed to then it will more than likly be a faulty functioning multi function switch.
