Question service body

Here is a question, I have a 1979 Ford F-150 with a straight 6/300 and 3 speed with an aftermarket floor shift kit. She is truely a work in progress. I am looking to put a bed on it, because the on on it is shot...just not worth repairing. I thought about making a flat body for it, but i am not sure how to or where to get started. The other idea i thought about was putting a service body (tool box body) on it. Will any body fit it? any ideas on where to get one cheap? also any ideas on a flat bed would be great too...This is a wide open thread guys, dig in.

I sold my service bed about 9 months ago and since then I see them for sale everywhere. The local junk yard has a couple from older trucks and one from an almost brand new PSD that was hit hard in the front and cought fire. I bet if you check with local cable/utility companies they sell off the old trucks to make room for newer ones. There is a plumbing company here that has a fleet of dead service trucks waiting to be auctioned off. Most of them are 80's model but there are a couple of 70's and 1 mid 60 chebby. check deals on wheels they have all inds of stuff on there. I was looking at a jerr-dan roll back bed for mine. Cut down to fit of course.
