1983 F-250 VIN Codes
Having trouble finding information on the VIN codes for my 1983 F250. VIN is:
1FTHF26G3DPA17695. Door sticker says it has a K tranny and 33 axle. Also the GVWR is 8600 which seems high to me for a F-250.
Would 33 be for both the front and rear axle?
Is 8600 correct for the CVWR?
What would the GCVWR be for this truck?
What does K mean?
Is there a site I can go to for more information?
Thanks, Phil
