Good deal or Headache??
Hey Folks, I don't come around the Bronco forum too often but I need your advice..... An aquaintaince of my brother's (jake)had to pull me out of a mudhole boatramp this weekend, I was up to my axles in mud, and had my 18 foot boat behind me, in the river. A jeep YJ could not pull me out, or even budge me-but Jake's 83 Bronco pulled me out like I was not there. It is a stock 83 bronco with a 302 4bbl. Lots of body rust, but it runs like a clock. He offered to sell it to me for 250$ because he does not have room for it anymore. Is this a good deal, or is there something wrong with 83 broncos? Are these good trucks?

Well, nobody answered me. But I think I'm gonna buy it anyway. 250 bucks is a pretty good deal for ANYTHING that runs and drives. Just wondering about 83 though, if there was anything wrong with those particular ones.

I'd get it, for $250, that is a steel, what else do you know about it, does it have lockers, grips, any lift? You could sell the engine for more then that, and then sell the body to the junk yard for about $75+, but it would be a fun truck, to go wheelin in.
