98 Grill Change????

98 Grill Change????
I have 98 Ranger 4x4 with the normal painted gray grill. I want to change it out for a 98 Ranger’s 2x2 grill (they are slightly different). Will this swap work easily or will other items have to change. Thank you in advance.

I have a 2000 Ranger, which I beleive has the same body as yours, and I changed my 2wd grill to the 4wd grill. I just had to remove a few screws, and pop out the old grill and pop the new one in and used the same screws to fasten it in. Real simple.

No I think they are different? I did a Google images on 2000 Ranger and it looks major different. But I could be wrong! Anyone?

Looks like the same grill to me...actually looks like the same exact truck. Also, if you check out the grills on ebay, you will see that grills on the 98 rangers also fit 99 and 00 rangers and vise versa. Seems like it would be the same case for you unless you have some special edition ranger that I didnt know existed. The grill on the 1998 truck pictured above is exactly like the one i replaced on my truck, except mine was chrome and not painted.
