Someone suggested I replace the oil drain plug with a fumotovalve. I saw the product on their website and it looks VERY interesting (great idea).
How durable is the fumotovalve and has anyone had any problems with it leaking...? (I have a 2005 F250 diesel).
Joey, I have this valve on my truck and have had no problems, makes oil changes a breeze and no mess. If you are planning to do the oil analysis bit, it is excellant for doing this and again no mess. When you do your oil changes besure to open the oil filter cap and let the oil drain into the pan.

I've had one on my '97 for several years, like it, no problems.
The only concern someone once raised was that it reduces the size of your drain hole and whether or not that would reduce the ability to draw particulate matter out of the pan do to the reduced flow.
