Ford Front Sag Problem
I have a 92 F-150XLT 4x4 with 130K miles.
My truck sags in the front, what I mean is if you look at the truck from the side, it does not sit level. This bugs the hell out of me.
I tried putting in some of the coil spring screws to bring the front of the truck up, but this seems like a half *** attempt to correct the problem.
I'm wondering now, if I purchase new front coil springs, if the problem will be corrected, or is this just a typical ford problem.
I also thought about putting F-250 coil springs on, because it seems that all the 250's I see around, dont have this problem. Am I the only one, or have any of you experienced this, if so, does anyone have a solution.?

Ford Front Sag Problem
Fords are unfortunately famouse for this rather ugly posture they tend to develope.I think it makes the truck look old and weak.The F250 option probabley wont work,all of the newer F250s use leaf springs up front. There are quite a few very good aftermarket companies that are putting out slightly raised to monstrouse heavy duty suspensions.Done propperly they can also improve your trucks handeling and ride characteristics.Buy an off road magazine and you will be overloaded with possible choices.Some of the suspensions are very affordable if you arent looking to get to Trick.

Hey Jeff,
Thanks for the input, I will get one of those magazines you were talking about.
I kind of wanted to stay away from any kind of lift kit, but maybe that is what it will take.
I actaully thought that maybe I might have to buy a suspension lift kit and just use half of it.
Maybe there is someone out there just selling the front half of a lift kit, specially made for this for ford problem.

Just give some of the lift companies a call,they are in the spring suspension buisness.One or more them will probably have excactly what your looking for.You should also try a good suspension shop in your area,they will probably have a spring manufacturer that they use as a supplier.Once you really start studying your options for improving the Ford front end(suspension,steering and alignment)youll be amazed at how many products are out there.The Ford TBI fronts have been in need of improvement for years,and many manufacturers have answered the call.

Ford Front Sag Problem
I purchased a set of high country 2" leveling (lift) springs from ##### cepek. Compared to buying them through a local company, it was cheaper even with shipping (about $160). I am happy with the ride they give and they didn't raise the truck much, just leveled it off kinda like a dodge.
