kittens!!

cat #6 (aka titi-mao) just had her first litter around 8pm. so far 2 are OK and one stillborn. sue managed to get a picture of the babies.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...oid=80805&.jpg

they look big for newborns cuz the mother isn't even fully grown herself.

Nothing is quite as pathetically cute and helpless as kittens. I love 'em.

Ooh... "Tiny Onezz..."

But I have a question:
Normal litters are larger than this. Is it possible some kittens are still trapped in the mother?
(There is a dire reason that I ask this. I once watched a mother dog die over that question)

we lost one of the three. sue was wondering the same thing cuz she was expecting at least four. but the mother is very small. she seems healthy enough though she's lost all interest in the kittens. i have to take sue to zellers later for some kity formula. for what it's worth we saw the placenta come out and the mother seems to have her appetite back.

Do a "feel check" and see if you can tell if she's really empty.
-But give the kitty time to recover some.

PS - Congrats on the "Poquito Gatos", mano!

"Oh they are sooooo cute!"

I am a sucker for cats. Especially kittens. I have 3 cats now. I did have 5 when I lived at my apartment a couple years ago. One of my cats I have now was a homeless cat that my wife (then girlfriend) made me chase around the apartment building until I caught it so we could keep it. She is the cutest cat. She is part dog I think.

Kittens are the cutest unless they chew on stuff (my one cat chewed wires for the first 2 years of her life).

LoL! If you were a bit closer I could probably be suckered into taking one. You don't have free delivery, do you?
