Currently own a 2003(better half -wife) & 2004 exp.

Have owned a 1993 exp (better half) that had 175K miles when traded for 03 exp. We traded it cause the ac did not work well enough after I converted it to r134a (stock condensor coil not large enough). We live in the DFW area and it gets hot during summer rush hour traffic. Actually liked this vehical.

Personnaly started out with a 67 ford falcon, 78 F150, 80 mustang, 82 F150.

80 mustang had a turbocharger - engine did not last 20K. 82 F150 had no heatsinking on electronic ignition module (long story on how it got fixed). Actually spoke with the Product Engineer from Ford. 93 explorer had a out of round wheel ( took several years find & fix). No help from Ford dealerships.

Reason I own ford is cause my Dad told me they never quit him in the field. They are a American vehical. That counts for me. The vehicals allways are basicly good. Its the dealership service I have had problems with.

Having problems with the 04 computer. I know ford will never fix it. I will have to wait a couple of years and accidently find the solution or mabey find the answers here.

Sorry about being long winded. I have deep feelings about ford.
