I am in the finishing stages of installing a Painless Wiring kit in my 1965 F100. I am having trouble identifying the posts on the wiper switch and the headlight switch. If you guys could help me figure what wires go where it would be a great help. I never had the plastic inserts that plugged in so the wires are being directly plugged onto each terminal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey Gas hog has a very good point. I ordered a shop manual on CD from one of the site sponsors. It was a little pricey at 50 bucks....but that thing is loaded with information, and it includes great wiring diagrams.

I have a wiring diagram for the 65 Ford Truck and it has conflicted with the color of wires etc. Just trying to buy some insurance so nothing goes up in smoke again. I'll have to look into the shop manual. Haven't seen one yet.
Matt,
Go to the site sponsor Motor Haven. They have the manuals on disk that have the factory diagrams. If the 65 diagram isn't working foe you, there is no point in looking at the cd manual too hard. Lets try something a little different. Lets take one switch at a time so we don't cause any confusion, and tell me how many terminals you have on the back. If it matches one I have, I'll tell you what each terminal should go to. That's all I know to try. If you have a better idea on a way for me to try to help....I'm all ears.

I got the headlight switch figured out last night and I think it is under control. But my wiper switch is still in question. It has five prongs on the back side and three of the wires go to the motor behind the radio. One of the prongs on the switch is elevated above the rest. Thanks a lot for the help Doc. This has been a real pain in the rear.
