I have the original dist from my 360 F150, 2v. It was murder getting it out and the o ring(s?) was/were pretty chewed up.
What is the normal practice for returning a distributor to good shape? It did work, in that the engine would start and rev somewhat. The engine had 2 dead cylinders and the carb was in bad shape, so I never drove the truck other than in and out of the driveway.
It is the Ford electronic distributor, and I had alread installed a cap, rotor and wires. I'm more concerned about the internals. Thanks!
its not worth your time or money. you need new bearings and all new moving parts. just skip it and go to www.kragen.com they cost 40.00 and are the same as new.
