Error Codes

i just pulled some codes heres what i got

Code 14
Code 31
Code 81

my problem is when ever i drive my truck for more than 5 mins it dies and wont start for a good 3 or so and it also has a very rougg time to get started i replace the ignition moduel plugs wire cap rotor fuel pressure test indicates a problem too 10 psi is what i read with it off i cant get it to go any higher than that could it be a problem code or somthing else im assumming fuel pump on the chassi cause it dose it on both tanks but im not sure.


1987 F-150 4.9 I6 300 2wd 3.55 trck-lock gears custom air intake venom piggy back moduel (removed until this problem is fixed)

This is what came out of my Haynes manual
Code 14- Pip circuit failure
Code 31-Pfe,Evp or Evr circuit below minimum voltage
Code 81-Air Management 2 curcuit failure

thats problem i dont understand what its talking about the acronyms mainly

ut in what reference are they talking about like what is the airmanagement 2 ciruit. i have my trusty haynes manual i dont notta about that

well i tried it today and the pressure went upto 44 psi and i went to take it for a spin and the power steering high pressure hose went kaboom and proceeded to spay fluid every where so i m gonna fix that and try it agian i keep you guys udated.

okay fixed that problem. so when i drove the truck around with the fuel gauge duct tapped to the window my fuel pressure went down to 20-30 then it acted like it wanto to die on me? tommorow im gonna replace the fuel pump on the chassis and the ignition pick and see what that dose any other i deas i could try.

Try driving her nicely(no mashing throttle or smoking tires). Everytime i'm mean to mine it break's on me lol. G/l man you have to be getting close.

well i decide to try somethin i took the line between the pump and filter off and it was blowing air and some fuel, so i checked behind the selsctor valve im barley getting fuel to one line the other have nothing????????

im just wonderin if the ignition pickup would cause the pumps to hiccup alot if it was bad any ideas????

do you have two fuel tanks or one. maybe the bypass valve in one tank is cracked or leaking causing it to suck air.

okay i decided to pull the bed off so it makes it easyier to work on i found that the two lines going to my charcol canister were bad i replaced those i check the pump in the fronmt tank DEAD Completely. Gonna Replace it as for the one in the back it seem like it works i pulled it out and tested it it vibrates so decided to check the wiring harness on the front tank with the pump from the back works there too elimantes wiring problem but i still seem to pumping air from the back tank any ideas clues things i might have overlooked thank you guys for your help and all the further help i might need.
