HI ALL,
Its been a while since on site....I've started my tear down on the little 54 f100 and now have the frame blasted and primed, mono spring on front(down 4 7\8") and lower shackle and relocated spring hanger in rear...(lowered 1 1\2"), new rubber and stainless brake lines, 97 Grand Prix buckets, and some real nice deep dish smoothies
Now tearing down engine....block is a 239 EBV with CF markings, will use a ECG9425-B intake for port sizes to matchup, has pistons .030 over, mains are .010 under and will use a 55 merk 14 tooth dist.
Will still use the Toyota pwr steering conversion and found an alt. disguised as a Ford Generator (www.powermastermotorsports.com)
lots of new parts on the shelf just waiting to go...wire harness, etc...


Question....I,m about to order the rings and main bearings...the rod bearing have "56" stamped on them...Is this stock or what size are these???

The bore looks real clean...anybody know a reason I just cant hone the cylinders and go back with .030 rings and match up the same size of the old bearings for the rods and mains...?
