Hello,
My truck has no power at all, if I press the gas at full it dies, but if I do it little by little it accelerates little by little but no power either. (no codes) check engine on!
Sensors are good, computer is good. Injectors are clean. Mechanic says we'll try different injectors to see if mines are sending too much fuel. What do you think?

Thanks a lot!
Check fuel pressure, check catalytic coverters, and check ignition. That is where I'd start.
Thanks, fuel pressure has been checked... it's good. Fuel regulator is working fine. Are catalityc converters the cats? after the exhaust manifold? I lack of parts vocabulary in English, sorry.
When you say check the ignition do you refer to the distributor, spark plugs and cables?
I noticed that when this started the AMP reader usually goes below the safe level (goes to red) mostly at night of course and when the AC is on. (could this tell us anything?)
Thanks
Yes, he's talking about the cats. Unhook the muffler and start the truck. If that fixes it then a mouse had made a nest in the muffler. Replace it... If it doesn't then unhook the pipes at the engine. It's gonna be loud, but you will be able to test it.
Well it happens that I found out that I have no cats... they were removed before I even got the truck... I also forgot to comment that when I run on propane I have no problem and the truck is powerful and like new! We teste the truck with another guy's computer and problem is the same... we tried different injectors and it's the same, fuel pressure is good, pump is fine, MAP sensor was changed too... nothing makes sense.
My mechanic has been head down into my hood and hasn't been able to find anything.... we're going nuts!!
Question... I am wondering if could there be anything making the electricity going to the injectors variable when more power is required? I don't know much about this but since the truck is great with propane (when the injectors are blocked) I thought it might be a good point where to aim at.
What do you think?
Oh yes, I didn't say it but the thing is that I have used propane for 6 years now and never had any problems switching from one to another.... (gas-gasoline)
Thanks
