V10 or Powerstroke?

V10 or Powerstroke?
New to the forum and am planning to purchase an F350 crew dually 4x4.
My son has a 2001 f350 crew sb 4x4 smoker (diesel) and swears by it.
I cant get past the smell, but if it is a big differance on towing confidance I may go Diesel. Any thoughts from you V10 users. Hows the milage while towing?

I'd recommend asking that question in the Super Duty forum. You'll find that there are very strong opinions for and against the diesel vs. the gas motors. I think it really comes down to what you prefer- the diesel guys wouldn't dream of giving up their Powerstrokes, and the V10 crowd just doesn't want a diesel no matter what the advantages might me.
