REALLY DUMB A/C Question. please help
I just completed changing the A/C O- rings in an E-150 van. I have a 30# container of Freon, that weighs exactly 6 lb. I need 3.5 lb for a full charge, how much does the container weigh?
I really would like to use up what's left of the Freon if possible.

Look on the side of the container for "Terra weight". This is the weight of the container.
It might be T.W. instead of spelling it out but it should be on there. Sometimes it's located up on the outside of a handle.
I don't think you have enough in there for a full charge.
Go pick up some Freeze 12 or something like that to finish it up. You'll need a different tap to connect to the other types of refrigerant.
