Differences Between Cab Mounts
My search just left me with more questions.
So, there are the 1 piece and 2 piece (factory style) cab mounts. Both use the same grade steel, but the 1 piece doesn't have an inspection plate. Without the plate, how do you get to the nut?
Is one stronger than the other? It seems that the cab mounts have a "tail" of sorts that hooks to the floorboards for added support. The 2 piece have these, and the 1 piece don't, correct? Is the second piece the floor support or inspection plate?
Is there a difference between 4x4 and 4x2 (so I have been told off of ebay sellers) mounts?
Simple things confuse me to no end. With whichever design is best, is there a company that has better ones over another?
