Exclamation Here we go again.....

So, if some of u will remember, back around the first of the year, I was rebuilding my 302 in my 86 Bronco. Well, lo and behold, a roommate -- a FORMER roommate -- decided to get smart and rip harnesses off and torch the top of my engine. My question is this: does anyone have any idea of where all the vac lines come from? I know where most of them come from...or at least the bigger ones. My diagram doesnt make sense to me. Ive got the one connected to the EGR valve, and 2 more go to the tree & FPR, one from the brake booster, and another one from the same area. But I lack one more and Im not sure if it splices off the FPR or what.... And what about the vac line that comes off the heater core? (or out of the same area of the firewall)
#2: what will not running an air temp sensor (TEMPORARILY) do to the engine? I think it helps calculate air/fuel mixture but is there any serious adverse problem to not running it for a few days? (it broke & im short on cash till pay day)
If i can get these questions answered, i think i can have it up and running again after 4 months of sitting there--again.
THanks
hukd

There are actuators behind the engine that have vacuum lines...

The bigger fitting in the tree goes to the brake booster. There are medium and smaller size fittings around the tree (hard to notice unless you look). Match the size end on the line so you get the right ports. The lines should mostly be pre-bent and line up. There are also the TAB and TAD solenoids to the right of the coil that have vacuum lines. The vacuum canister on the pass. fenderwell has 2 vacuum lines going to it. The actuator next to the hood hidge on the passanger side has a white line going to it. There are two lines that come off the side of the throttle body (you'd see the fittings on it), that use a little 2 into 1 y connector to make 1 line. It goes under the TB and over to the Y connector towards the charcoal canister (the black box to the right under the battery).

Theres quite a few...I hope that helps...I duno if I remembered all of them but thats a bunch.

It'll run without the air temp sensor, but it won't run its best.

i shoulda mentioned to those of u who werent in the last thread i had, its an FI 302. as far as the vac lines are concerned, most were fried when that guy torched the top of the engine. i think i have everything connected now. however, when i try to arc the solenoid, it doesnt do anything. after sitting up for several months, im sure its corroded and bad. would u all agree? and if so, would that keep it from starting now even when arc'd?
