Throttle body spacer
Greetings,
I am the proud owner of a 2003 Class C motorhome on a E-450 chassis with a V-10. I am sure much to everyones suprise I am looking to squeeze better mileage out of it. In my quest, I have been told the best bang for the buck is adding a throttle body spacer verses using a chip tuner. Anyone have any experience with either. Thanks

Hey Nilo welcome to the FTE forum
Lets see..... better milage witn a big air dam class c 9500lb motor coach with FoMoCo's best gasoline motor?
NOTHING you can do (that works) will usually pay back in better MPG to recoup the cost of parts and labor unless you drive that thing more than 15,000 miles per year.
The Gale Banks stuff really works but is very pricy.
Neither the tuner ($250-$500) nor the $80-$120 spacers have any dramatic MPG effects.
Airing up the tires, running all the time with all the grey, black, and fresh water tanks empty, and slowing down; are the best ways to get mpgs up by 2-3 miles extra
