Side window installation

I am installing the side windows, vent windows, and door hardware in my 54 f-100. It has been a long time since I took it apart so does anyone have any advice, tips, or tricks for this project. I want to make sure I do everything in the right order to avoid having to do things twice.

The best source for that info is the Shop Manual. I had to remove my vent windows and found it invaluable. I plan to gut the doors to rework them later this summer and I wouldn't attempt without the manual. You should get one.

I absolutely agree with Randy Jack. I was lucky enough to get a manual free with my truck. It's been very nice to have that. Now that I think of it I just moved and I have no idea where my manual is. Looks like I have more work to do. Good luck John

I've been working on mine this summer and have found that removing the door and working on the bench in my shop makes things much easier. The shop manual sits right next to the door on the bench.
