Hi Guys, I'm an old Ford truck fan. Have driven one for umpteen years and love them. The reason I joined in here tonight though was a problem with my big guy. This is the second time the pulley in the harmonic balancer has taken a ride down the road by itself. Bolts just sheared off. By the way my "big guy" is a 1997 150 Explorer.

Sounds like something's moving around; maybe the hub is rusty or the nuts weren't properly tightened or the threads are worn. I would clean and use 'Locktight' next time. Make sure the pulley doesn't wobble.
