Map Line Regulator

I Installed A Small Pressure Regulator In My Map Line. I Purchased The Regulator At A Local Industrial Controls Place. Had The Guy That Sold It To Me Hook It Up To Their Pressure Instruments And Set It For Me. It's An Adjustible Type Where The Dial Will Snap Down To Lock It In Place After Setting It..............my Question Is This ...i Set It At About 20 Psi And I'm Wondering If I Set It Too Low. It Does Seem To Be Serving It's Purpose And Fooling The Overboost Sensor . Should I Have Set It At 24 Psi. Will I Cut Myself Short On Fuel By Only Setting It At 20 Psi. I Understand That Normally Fuel Is To Be Cut Back At 24 Psi + . Using A Boost Tube Also And No More Ses Light Yet. Also , Am I Still Going To Get Maximum Fuel If The Map Sensor Only Sees Up To 20psi

Any Advice Appreciated

On mine, when I hit 24 psi it gave the defuel or SES light. I bought an "over-boost eliminator kit and it was set at 22 psi. I believe you will be fine at 20 psi. Hope this helps.

yea, 20psi should be fine, if i remember correctly "open loop" (full fuel delivery) happens at 17psi.
