If you can't roll down the window from either side, it is likely that the power window motor is bad. In fact, I am going through this right now on the driver's side.

The wiring in the door is pretty easy to figure out once you have the door panel off. Check the wires running from the switches to the motor. Pull the plug from the motor and plug a volt meter into it. Hit the switch and see if you have power. You should get something around 12v. If you are getting power to the plug when you hit the switch, then the problem is definitely in the motor.

If you do not get power to the plug, then you may have an issue further up the chain. Check the switches to make sure they are good. The easiest way to test this is to take a known good switch and swap it with the suspect one. The switches just pull out of the mounting block, so just trade with the functioning switch on the driver side.

If all of the above check out, your issue will be much harder to track down and will require a wiring diagram. Again, though, it is highly likely that the problem is in the motor.

As far as the power locks go, it sounds like you may have a bad switch. Try the switch swap method and see what happens. Otherwise, bust out that volt meter and start testing.

Good luck.
