Ohhhhhhhh Boy
I travel.... a lot. On my most recent trip, up to the Four Corners area, my wife decides to clean the garage and move some of her stuff to give me a little more room. Case of heart in the right place....head was somewhere else. I now can NOT find the engine mounts for my 68 Ford F100. She moved all the parts, that were in boxes, to a shelf on my parts rack, but said there was one box with some "old stuff" and she took that to the dump. Wanted to get upset but she was trying to assist me. Guess my questions is this.....where can I get some new engine mounts?
I don't think so. I remember putting them in the box with the old alternator...already replaced...the old water pump....new one on the shelf....and some larger bolts and washers. The mounts are what worry me. I saw some for a couple of bills....nice looking heavy duty units......so I might go that route. Thought I woudl ask here first though. The guys here are extremely helpful.
AZguy, Be sure to get a set from a 73-76 truck so that the later power steering gear will work without hitting. You may not have ps now, but might upgrade in the future.
I think $25.00 is too much to pay. There are plenty of guys that will give you a set for shipping.

is the block a 68 block?
did it have 2 bolts holding the mount on the block or 4 bolts?
I am talking about the whole shebang, mounts, rubber, everything. I am in LA right now, on biz, but I will check the number of bolts when I get back to Tucson. Been so long since I have been able to work on this thing I forgot some of the details. Thanks guys
Since we are on the subject. Does the mount bolt that goes through the tower have a washer on it? I have the nut on it that is supposed to be on it. At least it's the same size as the ones in the junk yard. Anyway I pulled the nut and bolt through the tower when I hit the gas today. I may have to weld a limiter in unless it's supposed to have a washer.
I think you need a washer in there. Sounds like yours need some help from a welder now.
You don't want that thing coming loose. It can stick the transmission in gear and the throttle in go, and be very embarassing at the drag strip :-) (Just a story I heard somewhere... :-)
