Alright, it's a 86 bronco with a EFI 302. She sat for about 4 maybe 5 years.
I put in new plugs, wires, filters. she runs great, unless I let her idle for five minutes or so then she just bogs down, and die's, or no acceleration, very little at most. ive dumped in some cleaner, and good chevron gas??? could it be a sensor? to much muck in the gas tank??
welcome to fte. do you have a check engine light? if so have you pulled the codes? you can learn alot from the codes, and track it down. if you havent pulled them, go to www.fordfuelinjection.com for directions if you dont have a scanner.
Sounds like the exhaust may be partially clogged. Have you checked the fuel pressure? I have actually seen a bad pick-up coil in the distributor cause the same problem. It acts like it's running out of fuel. Then when it cools off, it runs good for a bit then does it again.
