I have a 98 F-150. More often then not lately the power windows and interior lights won't work. If I tap behind or press on the fuse box, I'll hear a clicking sound and sometimes they'll come back to life. I've tried to get a better look but my fat head has a problem fitting between the two brake pedals :-).

Well there's your problem. You've got some funky hollywood stunt vehicle if it has 2 brake pedals!
I can't be sure, but I would see if you can reach behind the panel and slightly move individual wires and see if you can find a specific one that brings it back to life. I don't know how the wires connect to the fuse block but after getting my Dodge Caravan back from a mechanic where they had the whole dash out, the door lock button didn't work and I found that one of the wires had come out of the back of the fuse block. The connector on the wire kind-of snapped into the fuse block and I had to bend the tabs out a little, and then I snapped it back into place.
You may have the windshield leak problem some of the Ford trucks had. Water would run down and corrode the fuse panel and ruin the GEM module. Look for signs of water the next time it rains, or get someone to spray a water hose on the windshield. If this happens to be the case, you will have to take the whole mess apart and try to clean up the connections.
