Well, my truck is finally going up. 6" Skyjacker, 36x12.50x16 TSL Radials, 16x10 MT Classic Locks, 4.56 gears, rear Detroit, front ElecTrac (later on).
The best part about it, the wife is getting it done for me while I'm here in Afghanistan. I'd like to do it myself, but having it all done when I get back is kinda nice too.
I'll post up the pics when it's done or when I get home from this place.
Thanks for the support guys, it really means alot to the guys over here. Despite all the bad crap you see on the news, there are a lot of selfless Americans going a lot of great things that never get shown. Knowing that there are some honest-to-goodness folks behind them back home makes it worth every second.
Oh yeah, the truck went in today. It should be done on Saturday. Can't wait to see it all done. Really can't wait to drive it. Tired of driving dogged out Hummers over here. Plus, you really can't off road all too much, land mines tend to be an issue. Hehehe!
Thanks again guys. I post up the pics as soon as I get home.
Hahahahaha! Like I said earlier in the thread, everytime I do something to my truck the wife wants soemthing for the Jeep.
Well, she's doing one better. She decided that after she drops off my truck, she's going to get a new Suzuki King Quad. Finally getting rid of that POS Polaris she has. Gonna make a trip to Coal Creek, TN end of July, begining of Aug when I get home. Man, that's a good woman.
Thanks brother, will do. The way I look at, we were all put here to do something; my something is just a little more interesting version of hunting. Besides where else can you be in a place with no speed limits and everybody carries guns. It's all a matter of perspective.
