New Guy On Deck
What's up guys.
I'm a new member to the forum. I've been to the page before but now that I've started to get my hands dirty with may project (85 F-150 302 factory 2b), I figured I'm going to need all the help I can get. I got the truck from my wife's grandmother, it had been sitting up for a number of years. It then set in my year for about a year and a half before I could put some quality time into it.
It's not running right now, i'm having a problem getting gas from the tank to the carb. I've ruled out the carb, gas filter, fuel pump and the gas line to the tank. I've already taken the tank off and found that the mesh around the bottom of the sender was clogged. I've decided to replace it after reading a thread yesterday about the number of problems some of you guys were having with inaccurate fuel gage readings from the factory float.
My plans for the truck right now is to get it running. Later we will see about building in the horse power
