87 fuel trouble
I tried the fuel forum but didn't get much of a reply, I just bought a 87 f150, and suspect the rear tank is draining into the front tank. I put 20$ in the rear tank it registered but after a couple of miles I noticed the gas gauge showed empty, so switched over to the front and it showed way over full,it stayed that way for 2hrs of driving. so I'm assuming the back tank syphoned into the front. can someone shed some light on this for me. how to fix it? can I just run the front tank for now till I get it fixed. anyone been through this
