well, I'm venturing in2 new territory. Im in the 80-86 catagory. i hope u guys can help me out as much if not more than the guys over in that part of the forum! and believe me, them guys have save my butt a few times back before.

Reason for new thread... Application... 84 F-250 4x4 300 t-18 4sp and NP208 T-case.What i want to go in: ZF. That doesnt matter cause im poor and its an expensive tranny. What i currently have and want to make it work: M5OD and BW 1356 T-case. I know itll bolt to my 300 cause it came out a 95 300. Aint worried bout that. Have Drive shafts out of 96 F-250 (front n rear). They should work. to confirm, is the ZF and M5 the same legnth with the t cases attached? i really dont wanna cut em. both trucks (mine and donor) are 133" wheel bases.

now it comes to the loveable questions ... are the clutches the same size (11") in the M5 n T18? Once i get a yoke, will the Spicer Universals work? Im gonna get new ones definatly. Am i gonna need a new Master cylander for my clutch?

What it comes down to: Has ne1 done this swap b4 and/or Does any1 have a list so to say of what im gonna need for this swap???
