Starter disengage noise
Starter engages and starts engine w/o any problems or strange sounds of any kind.
However, 80% of the time after the engine has started and the key released, a grinding type noise is experienced as the starter is disengaging from the flywheel. The sound is simular to, albeit briefly, one experiences when a starter is accidently engaged in a motor after it is running; although not quite as sharp of sound.
Any ideas on specifically what the cause might be? I'm guessing the spring which retracts the starter gear is weakening.
Thanks for your time,
Teo
