It's been years, but I think once you pull the door panel, with the window rolled down you can unbolt the vent window(it includes the front track for roll up window). It will then twist/slide up/out of door. I know there might be some points I didn't mention/remember, but I know it's not that difficult to remove.
You probably need to remove the window also. Just pull the clips from the slider and pop it off. You don't really need to remove it from the door just move it out of the way.
There are 3 phillips head screws that hold the front of the vent window frame to the front of the door. Also one nut that adjusts the window track which you will find once you remove the door panel and one more screw that screws into the front window track that is just above the door panel and below the window opening.
1. remove window crank, arm rest and pop the door panel off.
2. slip window crank back on and roll window down
3. remove 3 screws from front edge of door (you have to open the door to see them)
4. you should be able to see the nut that holds the bottom end of the vent window frame/front window track. remove this nut.
5. remove the last screw that is just below the window opening.
6. take your time. Pull the vent frame down from the door then tilt it toward the window and begin working it up and out the outside of the door. As the frame is almost out the lower adjusting screw will not fit thru the opening, turn the frame 90 deg and it should come out.
