ranger overheating
got a 2000 ext cab and on the freeway with the a/c on bot 65mph the temp starts climbing un the mid and hot and i can feel a roughness in the ride, then the a/c goes warm. arround town allday at 40-50 mph with the a/c on everything is ok.
whats my areas.
restricted radiator?
restricted thermostat?
a/c compressor drag?
fan clutch?

With engine off and cooled down, and no pressure in cooling system, try to squeeze the lower radiator hose along it's length. It should not be able to squeeze shut anywhere. Also make sure your belt tensioner still has some travel left, and the belt is not stretched to the limit.
