I've noticed on the Ford web site and the owners manual there is no mention of replacing the trany filter. They only mention rpl the fluid @ 30K. Is there not a filter to b rpl like on a gas rig

Is it an automatic or a manual transmission? If it's an automatic then you'll have to replace the filter when changing the fluid. If it's a manual it won't have a filter and all you'll need to do is drain the old fluid out and replace it.
