Highest Record Bull Ride? (perfect 100 points)

went to a rodeo tonight in Stockdale, Tx (about 30 min from my house) and the announcer mentioned that the highest recorded bull ride was from a cowboy from Oregon. now, the reason i'm askin is cause the cute gal that went with me is from Oregon....the announcer said the ONLY 100 point ride ever was from the guy from oregon. she thinks this is pretty cool, i said i'd "do research" aka, ask the forum guys any ideas is this is true or not?

ps, it was a darn good rodeo. first one She'd been to....don't have too many in Oregon from what she tells me. good after entertainment as well. Jason Boland, Roger Creger. she loved it, so its all good. gotta love Texas nights

I've seen a ride of 96 at the Days of 76 rodeo in Deadwood, SD. That was a heck of a ride. Never seen a perfect ride.

Never seen or heard of a perfect ride, doesn't mean it's never happened, just that I've never heard of it. PS Jason Borland puts on a good show.

I seem to remember hearing the PBR announcers one night say there had never been a perfect ride...

We have quite a few here in Oregon, here's three of the most popular:

http://www.pendletonroundup.com/
http://www.stpaulrodeo.com/
http://www.molallabuckeroo.com/

A lot of the counties and small communities have their rodeos. It's kind of regional.

To say Oregon is diversified is an understatement. We have everything from rainforests to snowcapped peaks to sagebrush in the high desert. Politically, there isn't much middle ground. Seems like it ranges from far left wing to ultra conservative, depending on what city you live closest to.

It wouldn't suprise me that the girl you went with hadn't been before. A lot of people here live in cowboy country and don't even know it.

BTW....Stop stealing our women....
