Do they make a 40inch radial tire-15 inch rim? I want radial now to replace my 40inch TSLs, which are bias. I was looking at the TRXUS STS bias and wondering if they would be any improvement over the TSL even though there still bias. I guess im lookin to limit the truck shaking mostly.
The thing that makes your request tough is that radial tires have a very soft sidewall so when you put a bigger radial on a small rim it can flex a lot and tends to have sidewall issues. Most of the radials that get up there around 40" are going to use a larger wheel, like 16" or 17". However you can go with the Interco IROK in a radial 39.5" tire which is available in a 15" rim, think they're around $300 each. The TSL radials come in a 38" size for a 15" rim for around $300 also. Otherwise if you ever want to go to a 17" rim the Goodyear MTR makes a reaaaaaallly nice street tire in 40" radial.
You didn't mention any details so I don't know if the shake is all the time or just some times but make sure the tires are properly balanced. Shake should be minimal on bias tires and should only be after it's sat in one place a while, almost always cooler weather too. My 44's barely have any flat spotting and it's usually gone within 5 minutes of driving.
