Talking Name My Cow!
Alright. As I've mentioned here before I'm in the FFA at school and just bought a Brown Swiss dairy heifer. I'm having a little trouble naming it though. A few that I've thought of are
  • Miss Daisy
  • Vanilla
  • Cream
  • Vitamin D (more of a joke but w/e)
  • Lucy

Ya know... I don't think you should get too attached... she'll eat you out of house and home, and I highly doubt she's much of a conversationalist..

I don't think you should get too attached... she'll eat you out of house and home, and I highly doubt she's much of a conversationalist
Feed is regulated. I dont feed her till she falls over, so i can pretty much tell you how much I'm spending on feed. And I get compensated for feed when she's sold back to the breeder. Besides that not feeding her is not an option. Not naming her is also not an option, whether she enjoys carrying on intelligent conversations or not, its for official records.

Swiss Miss maybe?
Good idea but the junior brown swiss association has a pageant for members to be crowned Swiss Miss, so that wouldn't work. Thanks for your help though and Keep em comin!

Winona
Cleo (Cleopatra)
Moodona (my fav)

or name if after a State, City, or Country:
Miss Austin
Virginnia
Francis

or pick a word that may apply to cows/animals in general:
Big Mac
Chip
