Hi guys, I was out of town for a week. Took 6 grandkids and two other adults on a 2100+ mile trip to our beautiful West visiting various parks in my 98 Club Wagon. Also spent two nights in Las Vegas. And that's where I saw a CNN report about certain Ford products having caught fire while car/truck was turned off and in the garage. Didn't get all the details and have just arrived home where I hope to read about it in my stash of newspapers. Something about power steering fluid touching a hot wire on the cc sensor.
Anyone heard of this problem? I don't park the CW in the garage, but it is fairly close to the garage door in the driveway.
Thanks
Eddie

Switch diaphrams are failling allowing brake fluid to come into contact with "always energized" wiring resulting in fires.
