Make a FE 390ci Engine

I´m restroring a Stang Fastback GT 68, that came with a 390 ci GT engine;
wich it doesn´t have anymore.
Here I can´t find that kind of engine, but I can get my hands on a 352 or a 390's of Ford Thunderbirds.
The question is:
Can I build an engine similar to the 390 Gt, based on a 352 block(year 59) or a 390 block (year 64) from T-bird?????
I´would appreciate it if you could answer to my e-mail address ; eridanu5@hotmail.com
thanks,
Erwin

Pre-1965 engines came with a two bolt engine mount, '65 and later engines use a three-bolt mount. You'll likely have problems bolting either of those up. Keep looking.

You can adapt a 2 bolt motor mount block to the Mustang. It's not that hard and involves a little measuring and drilling one hole in the block plate. Let me know if you need the specifics...G.

Forgot to mention the heads will need the correct bolt pattern to use the stock exaust mainfolds. If your going headers no worry with this. G.
