stoopid question about cassette adapters
alright heres the run down. i have an aftermarket kenwood cassette player that was in the truck when i bought it. the tape player still works b/c i can play tapes. i got a generic ipod and want to be able to listen to all the music on it so i tried a cd to cassette adapter i had from buying a portable cd player years ago. i tried it and it worked great! i could play all the music i wanted. well after all the use the wire came loose from the adapter and it was no longer usable. so i went and bought a new one from walmart. but for some reason this one just gets spit out by the player like it doesn't recognize it as a tape. i have tried it upside down and backwards and i had the heads cleaned. i dunno what the difference is b/t the adapters. o yea and i have returned several of them thinking that it was a defect.
sorry for the long post but i was hoping i could get some help and thought the whole story needed to be told. anything i am missing here?
-cutts-
edit.... ok i went out and was fooling with it again and found that it is giving me a code i believe, its the letter C followed by an A and then a backwards C
and the head unit is a kenwood KRC-508S
