fuel gague
my 1993 f-250 2WD 7.3 non-turbo has the fuel gaugue past full all the time. the fuel selector works, but the reading stays at "beyond full". any suggestions as to the problem and solution?

Fuel guage show full at all levels of fill..........
Loose or dirty wiring connections or open circuit in wiring..
Open circuit in sender..
Sender arm movement obstructed
Here are the fuel guage test #s
22 ohms sent to the guage it reads empty "E"
145 ohm sent to the guage it reads full "F"
Here are the sender test #s
Sender at empty stop 14-18 ohms
Sender at full stop 154-162 ohms
Fuel guage show full at all levels of fill..........

thank you for your information. i have not tested anything to this point, and because i have been on here it appears i am not thankful. i am sorry for that...just a little too busy. i am going to get on this and again thank you.

I would concentrate on the plug at the tank switch, since both tanks are the same, seems odd to me if it were a sender problem.
Don't worry about rushing back, not everyone gets back right away, heck there's things i still haven't taken care of on here just due to the fact I haven't gotten around to doing them yet...
