Power gains
I have a '95 PSD 4x4. What would the power gains if I installed a 3.5" downpipe, gutted the cat and installed the Walker BTM. I have also done the Kwik filter mod but used a K&N filter because I had it laying around. I have also gutted the cat so I guess I'm wondering if there will be any noticeable power gains if I add the new downpipe and the muffler. Thanks. Great Forum!

i'm not sure you would see huge power gains... what you are talking about is removing restrictions to airflow... always a good thing to do as this will help throtle response and lower egts... but... to make more power, you have to inject more fuel... a chip or a programer will accomplish this task... lots of products to choose from...! don't do a chip or a tuner with out gauges... you HAVE TO HAVE GUAGES... egts and auto tranny temps HAVE to be monitored closely when you have these mods or you will destroy something... check out my post "oh my god" to read what i have to say about my new Predator tuner...! it will give you a lot to think about...!

Okay, now I want one! Now to figure out how to squeeze this in with all my other hobbies.
