'88 Cruise Control
The cruise in my '88 F-150 just quit working while driving down the highway. Since I replaced the ignition switch actautor recently. I'm thinking the problem is behind the steering wheel. I pulled it off, and found the one of the brushes is just about worn out. Instead of being flat, it loooks like the side of a mountain, except it's smooth. On one brush I'm getting 12.44 volts. On the other brush I'm getting 7.45 volts. Is it possible to replace these brushes, or do I need to replace the entire unit? i have a picture on my computer, but don't know how to paste it into my message.
