C6 vacuum modulator
just a question, havent done a vacuum modulator in a while, and havent done one on a C6 ever, but is there supposed to be a little metal piece inside the modulator?? when i took it off of the truck, a little metal piece came out of the modulator, and i need to know if it is supposed to be replaced

If you are talking about actuator rod (about 1.5" long and about the diameter of a pencil lead), yes, it must be replaced (actually reused) or the modulator won't do anything. Put a little vaseline on it to hold it in your new modulator as you install it.
