Automatic column shift with manual steering?

Automatic column shift with manual steering?
73 F100 240 inline 6, 3speed on the tree...
Hey guys, I am looking for some info on what I will need to do in order to swap the 3 speed manual column shifter to an automatic column shift?
I was told before that all I need is the shift collar, and linkage,etc, but I am not sure what all I need.
I am also told that the collr maybe different on a power steering and manual steering column.
Can anyone help me figure out what I need for the linkage swap?

I am in interested in swapping in an AOD I have lying around, or maybe getting a c4....

I would just stick a floor shift in it and avoid the column hassle unless you have a donor vehicle to retrieve all the necessary parts.
